We’ve been using the alarm for a few months now. It’s very effective and is definitely making a difference

Waking up a bear from winter sleep

Me and my son med a big progress so fare. From not being able to wake up to waking up himself or on the first drop with an alarm and go with me on the toilet. Not completely without the alarm yet but it’s slowly coming. In fact I expected the journey to be much longer.

Congratulations on the progress. Please reach out if you want any guidance. Good luck!

    Success

We have tried alarms with wires and had no success. But we were excited to try this one as it seemed a lot easier and more comfortable for my daughter.
We had success very early. We did combine it with the wafer tablets from the paediatrician to begin with.
I don’t know if it was a mind over matter thing but within just a few weeks my daughter was waking up dry. We are very happy with this product and it was worth the money for sure.

    Pure Magic!

Like everyone thinking of buying this - I was sceptical! My 7 year old daughter had never had a dry night in her life. We started using this and for 2 weeks saw no improvement. She woke up easily once a night when the alarm went off (different times each night, so no useful pattern) and we thought - its been 2 weeks - shouldn't we see some change? And then 'bingo' - we're only 8 dry nights in - but that seems huge! None of us can quite believe it. Just crossing everything that she can keep going with it! Almost nervous to write this review, in case Im tempting fate!!

    Unbelievably good!

I am amazed at how well this worked! My son is 6 and was still wearing nappies overnight, sometimes even leaking through because he would wee at least 3 times. We tried absolutely EVERYTHING, but nothing worked. He was producing a lot of urine overnight AND was a deep sleeper who would not wake when his bladder was full or even if he had soaked the bed. The alarm is easy and small, we just taped it onto the outside of his undies, and worked like magic. Within 10 days he was getting through the whole night with the alarm only going off in the morning. And by the middle of week 2 he was fully dry overnight with no alarm sounds and he was waking himself to go. I am so so happy with this device, best money spent. My son is so happy with himself too.

Unsure how it works but it works!

My 6.5yr old was wetting her pull up most nights. We tried training the usual way but she wouldn’t wake and would wee. She didn’t want to wear a pull up anymore but equally we weren’t getting far with the other method! She might have got there eventually but would have taken months. After researching and realising she was too young for formal help I read that an alarm would be best to use to facilitate the waking up bit.
Well first night naturally it’s a shock for her when the alarm goes off and she’s so sleepy but as she was determined to continue we happily carried on and gradually the spells of dry nights became longer a longer. We would have 2nights dry then one wet then another 3 or 4 nights and then one wet and so on. We kept the same routine every night even in hotels or on hols (with layered up waterproof and sheets) until we eventually got to a run of 14nights dry! This was at the 2.5mth mark. I then removed the alarm and she hasn’t had it back since! We are 5mths down the line and I feel confident to say she’s cracked it! So proud of her but really it’s her body learning so we would praise that and any wet episodes we took as her body still learning.
The support emails were so helpful and happy to get to back to any queries quickly.
Every child is different and their bodies learn in different ways. I would say if child and you are happy all the way through this is a fantastic and successful method. Keep things light and not stressful even though u might feel it inside!
I highly recommend this as a method for those kids who just need a bit of facilitation to wake up.

That is a great effort! Congratulations on getting bedwetting sorted. We are glad the support emails helped. Thanks for the feedback.

I'm shocked and delighted how well this device worked!

My 8.5 year old has been struggling with bed wetting forever. And after years of sleeping with a pull-up, her doctor suggested we try one of these devices. I thought we had nothing to lose, but didn't really believe it would work. But after only about one to two weeks we started to see improvements. And now after about 4 weeks she is dry every morning. I'm actually emotional writing this because this means so so much to her. She was shy to have sleepovers, or babysitters because she felt like she was living with this secret. She is so proud and I am so grateful for this alarm device. I cannot recommend it enough.

Well done! We are so glad they are free of pull-ups. We hope she enjoys the sleepovers.

I was hesitant, but this really works!

I was feeling at a loss with our 8yo wearing a diaper to bed every night and waking up with a very wet diaper every morning. We kept hoping she would age out of it, but she wasn't showing any signs of improvement naturally. Never once has she woken up at night to go the bathroom during the night, whereas her little sister stopped wearing a diaper and had no accidents from around 3yo - kids can be so different. My husband and I weren't comfortable with medication to try and resolve this, so this device seemed like a safe alternative to at least try. We considered it for over a year and then finally read enough positive reviews to persuade us to buy it.

Our daughter is a very deep sleeper (and a little stubborn) so we found we had to stay in her room overnight for the first bit to wake her up and take her to the washroom to pee. But within a few days we could tell that the alarm was making a difference and she would stop peeing in her diaper when she heard it go off - still reluctant to get out of bed, but that's just her. Within a month most of her nights are dry and she proudly tells us if she wakes on her own to go the washroom during the night.

if you're struggling with bedwetting I would definitely recommend trying this system out, it has absolutely been a game changer for our family. Our 8yo is now looking forward to sleepovers and overnight camp this summer.

Sound like great improvement is being made. Well done! We hope she enjoys her camp in the summer.

    AMAZING

We had tried everything with my 7 year old daughter and nothing was working. She was struggling to wake up even when I was helping her.
One night with the alarm and ahw has either been dry or woken up by herself! It's been amazing!
The only time she has wet since we started using the alarm was the first night of a holiday.
I strongly suggest trying it if your little one needs help!
    10/10 for our house!

    Effective product!

This product has made a huge difference to our son's night training experience. In some ways we wonder if we should have tried it sooner! He was always a very deep sleeper - often not even waking up when he was soaked through. He now maintains dryness throughout the whole night, waking only in the morning to go to the toilet.

We are so pleased the Eclipse helped your son's night training. All the best for the future!

    Questions Parents often ask

Most likely, a bedwetting alarm solves bedwetting for up to 9 in 10 young people. We have many resources and lots of experience so can guide you if needed.

Typically, 70% of young people will be dry in 2 to 12 weeks using our alarms. Some are quicker, some take longer. We encourage you to use the resources we provide and talk to our adviser to get the best outcome for your young person.

Yes it is very safe. Our alarms are registered with regulatory agencies around the world. The wireless sensor transmits twice for 1.3 seconds and ONLY when the alarm triggers. It also uses safe frequencies approved for medical devices.
The sensor contains Safety Electronics which means no risk of skin irrritation.
There are no metal contacts so no part of the sensor will corrode or deteriorate in urine.

We suggest ditching the diapers as they can remove the feeling of wetness which may interfere with the learning process. If you need the diapers to reduce the stress or mess, then go for it.

Children may eventually learn not to wet the bed on their own. If you think about it, you taught them not to wet themselves during the day – why would you not teach them to not wet during the night?

Many children have low levels of the hormones that regulate urine production at night, but DON’T wet the bed. If hormones are an issue then your doctor may prescribe medication to use along with the alarm.

Yes, you can use our strategies for deep sleepers to help them sleep learn to sleep dry. Remember MANY children are deep sleepers and don’t wet the bed.
